Conflict Management
According to the Health and Safety Executive, Violence at Work Report 2012:
There were 643,000 incidents of work related violence estimated in England and Wales in 2011/2012 with 324,000 classified as assaults and 319,000 as verbal threats.
A lone worker will, due to the nature of their work, be even more vulnerable to such attacks. Securecare Monitoring is here to help.
Securecare Monitoring responds to most incidents by using sensitive audio surveillance equipment. On receipt of an audio incident, a highly trained operator will respond by listening and assessing the sounds being emitted from your protected business.
How does it work?
Should an employee feel intimidated or vulnerable they can summon help by pressing either the fixed, remote or wrist band personal attack alarms. Our operators will listen in to site for up to 20 seconds. Depending upon the nature of the incident and if the operator thinks that a challenge over the system could cause a conflict to escalate, the operator will immediately contact the Police and stay on line to ensure that your employees safety is not put at risk.
The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 states that a company has:
"A relevant duty of care to its employees or to other persons working for the organisation or performing services for it"
Securecare Monitoring is able to offer you the peace of mind that their highly skilled operators are there for your employees at any time. We encourage sites to activate their personal attack alarms at any time without fear of any repercussions. We only contact the emergency services if there is a clear indication that a crime is in progress.
The benefits.
- Two way live audio feed.
- The operator will either issue a challenge to deter crime or summon immediate Police response.
- All alarms are recorded and audio feeds can be used in a Court of Law as primary evidence.
- Reduction in shoplifting.
