Intruder Alarms
Securecare Monitoring responds to most incidents by using sensitive audio surveillance equipment and live CCTV feed where available. On receipt of an audio intruder alarm, a highly trained operator will respond by listening and assessing the sounds being emitted from your protected premises.
The ability to listen to the premises provides a fast and effective method of assessing the situation. The operator also has the ability to issue verbal challenges for the person on site to identify themselves. If the person on site can be identified by using a predetermined password then the operator will close the alarm down. However if the password is not given, or if there is clear sounds of a crime in progress then the Police will be called and Keyholders will be contacted and advised.
As we are an SSAIB approved monitoring station we are also able to deal with non audio systems that signal sequential alarms and pass on any confirmed signals to the emergency services on the condition that the client supplies us with a live URN.
